Lemon Herb Salmon by ElwynAvalon Lemon Herb Salmon by ElwynAvalon
This is something I've wanted to do for a while. Not just one, I mean, but a series- after a fashion. The plan is to create a cooking/baking tutorial once a week- work permitting. ^^

Lemon-herb is, admittedly, my second favorite way to prepare salmon. My first would be teriyaki, but I had a craving for this recently.

At any rate, I hope people find this/these to be helpful and enjoyable!

I tried this with a fish seasoning rub instead of the herbs and it tasted DELICIOUS. Thanks for sharing.

It did! I think I might have overdone the lemon a bit but it was still quite tasty. According to my dad I also cooked the salmon itself perfectly even though I took it out a good ten minutes than what the tutorial said.

The lemon varies for me each time. And the cook time makes sense, I probably should mention it in some sort of footnote... I live at a very high altitude, so my cook times are different from others.
I'm glad it turned out so well for you! :tighthug:

That WOULD be a very good thing to mention XD I'm in one of the lower and flatter areas of the US so I'll have to take that into consideration when trying some of your others.

woo this looks great!! im defrosting salmon right now :)
also, id love to see the teriyaki recipe. and wondering if it would be any different with pan searing?

Ooooo! Pan searing could be quite delicious. The caramelized exterior combined with the tangy of the lemon has great potential. Give it a try! My only tip on that would be to ensure it has marinated for a long enough period of time so that the lemon flavor carries over.
And thank you so much! I hope you enjoy it!

nice tutorial of a basic and delicious way of preparing salmon! My family has made this many times before, I'm not a huge fan of salmon, so I use a different type of fish. It tastes good either ways :D maybe try making a tutorial about a different way of preparing salmon, like grilling it or stir frying it :D
