I really have been planning on doing this for a while...

Apple Crisp was one of the first things I learned how to make as a child. My parents would let me do anything I wanted in the kitchen, provided I cleaned up when I was done. I focused a lot on desserts when I was younger...

advice =) .. peel the apples.. slice them very thin .. and add a tablespoon of butter and a tablespoon of lemon to them.. .and for the crumble.. add some butter/margarine so that they have a good consistency and dont "crumble" that much .. would turn out much better :D

Thank you for the suggestions! ^^ I never peel my apples, as that's where many of the nutrients are, but next time I'll try the butter and lemon. >w<
Do you mean that the amount of butter should be increased?

you're more than welcome =) .. well i always use margarine..it's healthier hehe.. but yeah.so that they dont fall apart ... and i know about the peeling.. but i mean this is a dessert.. so .. you gotta break the rules sometimes :P .. and as for the amount of butter.. well .. i never melt the butter i jst soften it.. and then i mix the crumble all together with the butter.. until it's like together and not falling apart too much .. i mean if you press it all together.. it sticks.. not falls apart .. you know what i mean? .. i dont use certain measurements.. it's just a sense..

Ah, I see what your saying. In general I don't measure either, but in giving the recipe to others, I need to start somewhere. But, increasing the amount might be in order. =)
I don't mind apple peel, so whether it's there or not doesn't make a difference while I'm eating. But I see what you mean.

hehe ^^ .. well peels are annoying when the fruits are cooked.. especially apples.. since the apple itself melts.. but the peel is chewy, kinda screws up the dessert dont you think?

On this you may be right, at least, I see your point well. It's most annoying when one is eating a well cooked apple and gets some bit of peel stuck between their teeth... Haha
I don't know about screwing it up, but I know that there are some occasions when one would rather the skins not be there.

Beautiful tutorial (as in real nice design and great photos).

I have a doubt though, about how hot the oven should be. My husband insists that the lowest (its her mother's recepy), but I think it takes too long and that's not good for global warming...
